Raul Castro Congratulates ICAP on its Anniversary
President Raul Castro congratulated the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) on its 55th anniversary and recognized its contribution to the beautiful work of bringing Cuba closer to the peoples of the world.
In a message released today by the media, the Cuban leader recalled the creation of ICAP by Commander in Chief Fidel Castro with the premise that solidarity would always be a component of the Revolution.
The institution celebrated yesterday this anniversary with a ceremony in which ICAP's president, Kenia Serrano, ratified the historic commitment of accompanying the social process that started in January, 1959.
In the ceremony was also reaffirmed ICAP's willingness to work for solidarity among nations.
