"Those who think that when a leader disappears a revolution disappears too have not understood --and I do not know if they ever will-- something that I said years ago: "Men die, the Party is immortal." In this case, it would be even more correct to say: "Men die, nations are immortal." A man’s ideas might disappear with him, but the ideas that have taken root in the soul and in the heart of a nation can never die".
